ARE DEL AQUA AND THE SHEIKH PLANNING SOMETHING?

With the Oasis nearing it’s last game, Sultans fans from all over the globe rush to claim their seats to witness the team’s finale against Hydra.

The Sheikh has gone the extra mile providing discounts on tickets and offering premium gifts to those who had purchased VIP seats—one of them being a shirt autographed by the entire team and the Sheikh himself! Fans have also claimed the restaurants within the Oasis are preparing elaborate meals exclusive for the very last day, and that the merch stores will be selling special, limited-edition jewelry, clothing, figurines, soccer balls, and more! Only 100 were made for each piece of merchandise, so if you’re going to the Oasis, get ‘em while you can!

The Sheikh has also made sure his players have been training well & treated well, but it’s not just his players he’s spoiling, he’s gone out of his way to ensure Hydra are getting the most out of their last visit. Private, luxurious rooms within the stadium itself, personal washrooms, access to the Oasis’ 24/7 catering service, and custom made surfing boards for each of the players!

And what a gift those boards must’ve been! As Hydra’s players have been constantly seen running to and from the nearby beach whenever they can!

“I might not know much about surfing, but what I do know is that Del Aqua’s players deserve the most durable, highest quality surfboards that can withstand any wave and tricks of theirs.” The Sheikh had said during an interview, “It’s the least I can do, really. I have no doubt being stuck in a stadium with all my staff running about and dealing with the constant delays in service has been draining, so giving them a chance to escape from it all is more than needed.”

The Sheikh was asked if Del Aqua or any of his players had to pay—or were going to be charged—for these surfboards, or if they would return the favor by helping the Sultans with their stadium, but the Sheikh shook his head.

“It’s a gift, as if I’d ever charge a fellow Super League team for a gift. And this is our closing stadium, not their’s. As long as they’re enjoying themselves, that’s what matters most. Though, Liquido and his friends have been trying to teach me ‘surfer’ terms as a thank you.” He laughed.

When asked if he could share any of the slang Hydra players have taught him, Sheikh only laughed again.

“No, no, I hate to disappoint, but I feel I’ve yet to ‘click’ with them. I tried to use a couple in front of my boys, but it was apparently ‘embarrassing’ to watch their coach try to be, ah, ’radical’.

With Hydra residing within the Oasis for the next few days, the exclusive merch and meals that are being planned, and the immense preparation that has to be made for and after the Sultans’ last home game, one would assume the Sheikh would be running all over the place alongside his staff, but imagine the confusion that fans and faculty alike must’ve felt when they spotted the Sheikh leisurely strolling across the pitch with Del Aqua by his side.

An anonymous source had managed to snap a couple of photos before fleeing the scene.

Hehe, hi Sheihk...

Now what could these two possibly be talking about with their match quickly approaching? And why were they off in the distance, away from everyone else?

Why weren’t they with their teams? Why weren’t they focusing on practice and making sure their players are in tip-top shape? Could Del Aqua be offering his help, or is the Sheikh making a request? Or are the two planning some sort of collaboration?

Or is it nothing more than the coaches taking time out of their busy schedule to unwind and have a pleasant chat?

Perhaps answers will be given on the Oasis’ last day…
