SUPA STRIKA'S COACH THREATENS TO END TONI VERN'S CAREER!?
Maci Gian
Supa Strika's Coach, Coach, had recently attended a press interview at the Strikaland Stadium alongside Dancing Rasta and North Shaw. There's been a lot of excitement for their upcoming match against Technicali, and fans have especially been dying to see Coach go head to head with the ever-so controversial man himself, Toni Vern.
It wasn't even a month ago that Toni had been caught trying to hack into Iron Tank's machines in an attempt to use them against the team. Luckily, he only managed to hack into 2 of their 30 tanks, and only rammed them into the outer walls of the Fortress (I guess he was trying to break them in?) before the Super League Disciplinary Board put a stop to it. (Double luckily, I was sitting on the other side of the Fortress, so I didn't feel a thing!) As a result, Iron Tank & Technicali's game had to be rescheduled, and will be held at The Hub in a few weeks.
After something so major, people couldn't help but wonder if Toni was planning on doing something similar again.
"Please, our stadium is well protected." Coach began when asked if he was worried about Toni breaking into Strikaland, "Especially with a man like Prof. keeping tabs on everything, I doubt Toni will be able to leave a mark on our walls."
"Yeah, and we like, don't have actual tanks sitting right outside our stadium." North Shaw said.
"Whether they're outside the stadium or in, we have to be ready for whatever Technicali throws our way, no matter if it's another team's tank, their dirty tricks, or their skill." Dancing Rasta said with a determined look.
Coach nodded, "Rasta is right. Even if we ignored the whole 'tank mishap' that happened-"
"Kind of a big thing to ask." North Shaw chuckled. Coach continued.
"-Technicali has shown to be quite the formidable team. Their players have the skills, it's just a matter of having the right coach to guide them."
Several journalists--myself included--asked Coach if he saw Toni Vern unfit to be a coach. Dancing Rasta & North Shaw both gave him nervous glances before he spoke again.
"What I feel about Toni shouldn't matter, but what I will say is that he better be ready for our next game--a fair game."
When asked what he'd do if Toni tried to sabotage them, Coach pushed his shades up.
"It's not going to happen, I won't let it. If I find out Toni tries to do anything to Strikaland or my boys, I'll personally see to it that he doesn't try it ever again."
The press interview concluded, but many still had hundreds of questions they needed Coach to answer. Unfortunately, I was seated in the very back of the room with no real hope of reaching either him or the players. So many questions are still in my head hours later, even as I type this very article!
Is Coach planning on destroying any on Toni's inventions? Dismantling his team? Destroying Toni's career? He sounded so serious when he said that last line, and that look he gave! If I was Toni, I'd be trembling! Will Coach force Toni to retire early, just as Big Bo did in that infamous Spike Dawson clash (did Spike even retire? Or did he die? I remember he went to the hospital and that's about it.) Or what if Toni willingly retires, like Mack or Golare? Toni does look quite old, maybe it's best for him to step down while he still can before Coach makes him step down.
