FITNESS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY CLOSED FOR INSPECTION

The Disciplinary Board has announced that the Fitness Institute of Technology (F.I.T) will be closed for the rest of the week for a thorough inspection. Multiple agents have stated the lights have been flickering severely throughout the past few days, along with multiple power outages.

“Shoddy power usually isn’t anything to raise a brow at,” An agent at the scene said, “but at the F.I.T? Definitely concerning. The folks who run this place work closely with us, they take real good care of everything, they have some of the best electricians on their team, and they’ve got several high quality generators, so if they’re still having outages? This is worth looking into.”

The F.I.T is beloved by many of the great minds in the Super League for it’s 24/7 access, the array of services and supplies it provides, along with their storage units and laboratories that can be rented whenever needed. With all this being said, it’s no surprise to learn the reaction to this announcement has been negative. The Disciplinary board isn’t even allowing people to grab anything from their rooms until the inspection is over. Agents have blocked off every entrance to the building, and are constantly monitoring the area.

“There’s a chance this could be someone trying to shut the place down… And there’s also a chance this could be nothing more than a faulty wire.” Another agent told reporters at the scene, “We don’t know yet, and we don’t want to wait and find out.”

Agents were asked why they believed someone would be attempting to shut the F.I.T. down in the first place. They shared their speculations.

“Sabotage. This institute is filled to the brim with some of the Super League’s greatest inventions, and if you don’t want your opposition to win? You’d want to make sure they can’t use them. Not only that, no power means no security. Surveillance cameras would be down, lights would be out, agents won’t see you snooping around, and if you really know the layout? You could be in and out in a matter of minutes.”

Renown figures such as Supa Strikas’ Prof, Hydra’s Ursula, Iron Tank’s Ms. Isle, and even Orion’s own Coach Black visit the institute frequently. All of their belongings and projects were now being held hostage.

Ursula shared her thoughts during a virtual interview: “It is unfortunate, getting to work at ze institute is one of ze few times I am able to leave zis stadium. Not zat I hate vorking here, but a change in scenery iz nice from time to time.”

She continued.

“I enjoy staying up late and getting to work in silence, ze boys here, zey… Zey get so rowdy. Always shouting, jumping off ze walls, getting stuck in ze strangest of places, and zey never listen to Del Aqua and—“ She grumbled until her words became inaudible. She cleared her throat and continued, “And I vas looking forward to seeing Ms. Isle, ve don’t collaborate or anything of ze sort, but ve seem to have a similar schedule. Ve both come in at ze same time, ve both vork very, very late, so ve have started to visit each other’s room during ze evenings… Very nice, makes things less lonely.”

Ms. Isle was also asked if she had any thoughts on the F.I.T’s temporary closure, to which she responded:

“A shame, but no matter! I vill simply use Thor as test dummy again.”

Coach Black and Supa Strika’s Prof were too busy preparing for their upcoming games against Nakama and Technicali to comment.

Super League Agents have promised to provide consistent updates on the matter as their investigation continues. One of the institute’s managers have also come out to announce they’ll be sending out emails to those who have scheduled a tour or planned to rent a room with details on rescheduling or refunding.
