The Sheikh shares SHOCKING news about the Oasis!

When the Sultans’ coach teased he was going to be making a special announcement on the evening of a formal party he was hosting, many had assumed it would be related to his team’s thrilling match against Nakama, and how they came out on top 3 - 2, but what the Sheikh ended up sharing was news nobody was prepared for…
The Oasis is closing down.
“We’re having one last home game against Hydra, but after that, we’ll tragically have to close our doors.”
Many attendees didn’t give him a second more, and had rushed to ask why he was making such a drastic decision. The Sultans’ have been on a consistent winning streak, tickets are constantly being sold out, and the support from the fans is as loud as ever.
Some speculated that perhaps there was an issue with the structure; that the decades it’s spent in the intense humidity and withstanding sandstorms was finally catching up with it. Others wondered if there were internal issues, something that lead to the Technicali’s former Hub to close down, such as water leakage from the pipes, or the constant blasting of the AC unit being too costly to keep running, but the Sheikh denounced these claims.
“Please, I would never dream of letting our beautiful Oasis fall to ruins, however, I have been caring for the stadium for quite some time now, and there comes a point where—no matter how much dedication you pour into it, or how many victories you’ve had there—the sight of it all starts to grow… Stale. A change of scenery is needed.”
Journalists asked if this meant the Oasis was going to be seeing a redesign in the near future, be it the interior or exterior, but the Sheikh chose not to comment.
With the doors closing soon, many can’t help but wonder how the future of the Sultans’ games are going to play out. Could fans ever experience the true spirit of being a Sultans supporter if they can never step foot onto their home stadium again?
“We’ll still be playing, of course; as if I would ever deprave my boys of such. And while we won’t have our Oasis anymore, do be on the look out for a future game of ours that will certainly elevate the way football is played.”
The Sheikh then put a quick end to further questionings, and according to guests, the party carried on as normal, thought it was hard to ignore the bittersweet feeling that lingered in the air. The mere thought of such an iconic stadium closing it’s doors after so many years is a devastating one to say the least.
Will the Oasis truly close for good? Or will it go under a huge redesign? Or perhaps be repurposed? How do the Sultans’ players feel about this? Will the Super League have to make major changes to their & their opposing teams schedules?
There’s no clear answers to any of this, even checking the Sultans’ website takes viewers to this page:
Further solidifying the fact that what the Sheikh said was no mere publicity stunt. All fans can do now is wait and see what the future holds for the Sultans.
