IS TWISTING TIGER THINKING ABOUT REJOINING NAKAMA!?
Maci Gian
It was only a mere few seasons ago that Twisting Tiger had rekindled his friendship with his former teammate, Miko Chen, after their tragic fallout when he had left Nakama. Fans of these teams couldn’t help but speculate whether this kindness was genuine, or if it was to save face in the midst of a game.
Many Supa Strika fans are still untrustworthy of Nakama, even more so towards their coach, Ura Giri. The video-guide scandal made against Tiger that had been distributed amongst other teams is still fresh in the minds of the Strika fanbase, and despite the Disciplinary Board’s best efforts, they couldn’t destroy every copy of those dreadful DVDs. Unidentified individuals had managed to get ahold of a couple of the DVDs, recorded the contents, and have taken to posting them across multiple social media platforms. The Disciplinary Board is still working on tracking these people down, but for now, all they can do is take down any reposts.
Then there are the Nakama fans, who’ve yet to collectively decide whether Tiger’s sudden departure should finally be accepted and moved past, or if the constant criticism towards him should continue. Long-time fans are especially vocal against Tiger, and how he’s betrayed the very code Nakama has been built upon: maintaining loyalty, honor, and trust.
But despite the tension between fans, despite the past conflict, neither seem to be enough to sway Twisting Tiger & Miko Chen’s relationship—as the two have recently been caught walking together in a city close to the Soccersphere!
With Supa Strikas set to play against Technicali soon, and Nakama still recovering from their loss against the Sultans, one would think these two would stick close to their teams and prepare themselves for their upcoming matches, but instead, they’ve been seen keeping close and whispering amongst each other.
Folks at the scene couldn’t quite hear what the two were talking about, and before they could be questioned further, Miko Chen had quickly pulled Tiger into an alleyway, where the two ran ahead and disappeared.
While they may be away from the scene, the questions still linger.
Why were they so far away from their teams?
Were their teammates aware they had wandered off together?
What were they talking about? Was it truly so important that they had to whisper and be away from the public eye?
Surely it had to be if neither of them wanted to risk outsiders hearing about it!
Could they be planning something big?
With how quickly they’ve rekindled their friendship, it’s hard not to wonder if their reunion has triggered something within them… Perhaps Tiger missed the familiarity of his home team? But just how much did he miss it, to the point he departed from the rest of Supa Strikas just to see an old friend again?
Or is Tiger possibly trying to convince Miko Chen to see if a red jersey suits him better?
Only time will tell what’s in store for these two and the future of their teams! For now, all fans can do is keep a keen eye out and see if they can spot Miko & Tiger sneaking around again.
