UPDATE: SUPA STRIKA'S COACH THREATENS TO END TONI VERN'S CAREER!?

IMPORTANT UPDATE ON COACH'S THREAT TOWARDS TONI VERN!

I--and I'm sure a ton of other journalists--recently received this email from Supa Strikas' Coach!

Transcript:

"Greetings,

I, Coach, felt it necessary to provide clarification in regards to the press interview that was held at Strikaland a few days ago. Specifically, I wanted to address any concerns revolving around what I said towards Technicali's coach, Toni Vern.

While I understand that my tone near the end of the interview was serious, I, in no way, intended for my words to be perceived as a threat, especially towards a fellow coach. I was under the impression I had made it clear that I was strictly referring to forbidding any of Toni's attempts at trying to damage Supa Strikas' stadium, or harm it's players, but it seems I should've made more of an effort to clarify. For that, I apologize for any and all confusion I may have caused.

I would also like to debunk the most recent and egregious claims I've heard since the interview. In no way would I ever:

• Break Toni Vern's inventions
• Force Toni Vern into an early retirement
• Break into The Hub and destroy their belongings
• Slander Toni Vern's career
• Break Toni Vern himself
• Take Technicali for myself (what does that even mean? Why on earth would I want to leave my boys?)
• Dismantle Technicali

To clarify even further, all I would do to Toni Vern if he did try to break into our stadium or hurt my boys is give him a temporary ban and let the Super League Disciplinary Board handle the rest.

Unfortunately, these sort of rumors are one of the many reasons I avoid talking about coaches. The most absurd, and frankly disrespectful claims that spring out of nowhere negatively affect everyone involved.

My Thoughts:

For starters, I would like to state that everything I said at the end of my previous Toni Vern article was all alleged. I, in no way, accused nor claimed Coach was going to hurt Toni, it was ALL speculation (Supa Strikas lawyers do NOT come for me please!) We've all seen Coach out on the field, we know there isn't a single spiteful bone in his body.

Second, it was nice to get some clarification, honestly. I wonder if Toni himself caught wind of this? I wonder what he's thinking? I'm sure that little old heart of his had skipped a beat when he first heard the rumors about coach possibly threatening him. Hopefully the rumors were also enough to put a stop to whatever he was plotting too!
