WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR...

It’s been a couple days since Toni Vern & Colonel Von Pushup had their informal interview, and since then, fans and journalists alike have been waiting in anticipation over what the Disciplinary Board had in store for them. Finally, an official statement has been released by the judge. It’s quite the lengthy statement, so if you are interested in reading through the 26 paged document yourself, check out the Disciplinary Board’s official website, or click the link provided: slbd.org/announcement/vonpushup_tonivern_offical

Here’s a run down of all the important updates the Super League fans—Technicali & Iron Tank fans especially—need to know:

  • Toni Vern will NOT be suspended, and instead has agreed to allow a Super League Agent to monitor him for the next few weeks.
  • It’s been confirmed that the ’Vernin’ Toni had described were not weapons, but spyware. They have been confiscated and are currently being studied at the Disciplinary Board.
  • Toni’s labs (both his current one and his former one at the old Technicali stadium) are going to be thoroughly inspected to ensure there are no other devices that would allow Technicali to cheat.
  • Colonel Von Pushup HAS been suspended for the next 2 weeks.
  • The judge had offered Von Pushup a compromise; suggesting he repair the damages he had caused in Toni’s lab, to which Von Pushup refused.
  • Von Pushup is NOT allowed to be within the perimeter of his own stadium throughout this suspension. Despite this, both he and the judge are fine with the rest of Iron Tank playing. Their match against Colossus will not be postponed.
  • Captain Johann Uber has taken on the role of both his team’s coach and captain.

Iron Tank fans have expressed how unfair this punishment seems and have vocalized their frustration. The Disciplinary Board has been flooded with calls & emails, Futbol 360 has received countless requests from fans asking to have their voices be heard, and the Iron Tank tag on Natter has quickly shot up to the top searches:

While Toni Vern has kept quiet, refusing to answer any News stations that have reached out to him, the Colonel was much more willing to share what was on his mind:

“Am I pleased with this? Of course not, but I’ve gone through winter nights harsher than this puny punishment.” He told Futbol 360, “This changes nothing. Nothing. I will ensure my men will be pushed to their limits, they will train until the crack of dawn each and every day, so when our match against Colossus arrives, I won’t need to be with them.”

When asked if there was anything he wanted to say to Colossus’ coach, he responded:

“Nick, I hope you were watching how my men had crushed Technicali,” He cracked a bitter smile, “Because that is exactly what we’ll do to you.
